Out-of-pocket rates for our services are listed below. You may qualify for no-cost lactation care through our partnership with The Lactation Network. If we are not in-network with your plan, a superbill will be provided to you so you can submit it to your insurance company for partial reimbursement.
Prenatal consultation
In a prenatal consultation, we'll discuss your infant feeding goals, previous breast/chestfeeding experience, and any pertinent health history. Your customized plan will include troubleshooting for any expected complications, planning ahead for a return to work, and building your circle of support. Expected visit length: 1-1.5 hours.

Postpartum consultation
Once baby arrives, you may find that you have challenges related to feeding your baby that you weren't expecting, or you may feel like things are going well but you want to touch base with someone who can confirm this for you. A postpartum consultation is a comprehensive visit consisting of a detailed history, exam of both parent and baby, observation of feeding, and a customized plan. While not all challenges can be overcome in just one visit, we'll put in place concrete steps to help you reach your goals.
Expected visit length for initial consultations: 1.5-2 hours but may occasionally stretch longer. Follow-ups are usually 1-1.5 hours.

Telehealth consultations
Telehealth consultations are a convenient option when meeting in person would be difficult. Telehealth is especially well-suited for prenatal and follow-up consultations. Telehealth visits are not appropriate for all situations and your lactation consultant may guide you to an in-person option in some cases.

Other services & fees
$50 Travel/admin fee
A travel/admin fee will be assessed for all home visits. This fee cannot be covered by insurance. This fee helps offset fuel and maintenance costs and our time commuting that cannot be scheduled with clients.
$50 Cancellation fee
A cancellation fee may be assessed for any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of appointment time.
$50 Pump flange fitting
A pump flange fitting must be done in person but can take place in your home or in our office space. Please have all pumps that you intend to use and all parts and accessories available for the visit.
Flanges available for sizing include Medela, Spectra, Pumpin' Pals, and Maymom (flanges and inserts) in sizes 10mm-36mm. Please indicate your pump brand(s) and current flange size you are using when making appointment. This service is not insurance eligible. There is no charge for this service when completed during a consultation. Expected visit length when occurring as a stand alone service: 30 minutes.
$25-50 Multiples
A surcharge of $50 will be added to initial consultations and $25 for follow-ups for each additional infant.
